"Citizen Development' - or 'DIY Development' as it is known at Shell - is becoming an increasingly important enabler for accelerating digital transformation. DIY Software Development creates the framework to deliver bespoke digital solutions rapidly at low cost Nils Kappeyne, Vice President for DIY Software Development at Shell will lead a discussion on this topic. Whilst the idea of speedy value generation through increased automation at a reduced cost appeals to business leaders, IT Managers are understandably concerned as staff who are developing applications may have no formal training. 

 Nils will introduce the concept of DIY Development and pose three key questions for the participants to discuss:
